I am starting a new tradition for Mother's Day, and that is to treat myself with photographing my kids. Whenever I drive by this one location, I always think it would be a cool place to take photos. So, we roughed it dressed in our fancy clothes and took a walk through anthills, prairie dog holes and dead cholla cactus trunks. As creepy as all that sounds, it was actually pretty fun. I love spending time with my kids...even random moments like walking through the desert in our Sunday best are memories that we will always share.
