Sonny is one of the kids in high school from my church. Although he is one of the oldest, he really reaches out to everyone, including younger teens, and always tries to make sure no one is left out and that everyone is having a good time. Sonny asked me to take pictures for a modeling audition so we met at the high school and he did great making "serious" faces, even though there were a lot of students and teachers walking around. Long story short, they loved him at the modeling audition, but once he realized the time commitment he would need to make with them, he knew it would make him have to wait to serve a mission for our church. He decided to put his modeling career on hold so he could go do what he felt was most important. Pretty cool.
